As such, two independent studies have scientifically confirmed that Genacol® helps reduce joint pain.
These two trials, one carried out at the University of Liège (200 subjects), and the other one at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center Institution (113 subjects), have shown positive results. With Genacol, a “statistically significant” beneficial effect with relation to pain was observed in the subjects: the best result that can be obtained during a clinical trial.
The study carried out at the University of Liege by Dr. Olivier Bruyère from the Department of Public Health, Epidemiology and Health Economics: ‘’Effect of collagen hydrolysate in articular pain: A 6-month randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study‘’ has just been published in the journal Complementary Therapies in Medicine. The study from Veterans Memorial Medical Center, carried out by Dr. Bernardo is presently under review for publication and should be available soon.
Both trials have confirmed the results of several other studies carried out in the past; revealing the beneficial effects of certain nutriments regarding joint health. Up to now, hydrolyzed collagen proves to be one of the most promising nutritional products.
